If you're looking for a challenge as well as old school turn based combat, Lost Odyssey's your best bet. I have both and LO's the better of the two, but you should really get around to getting Eternal Sonata sometime.
LO!
i couldnt play ES too much cuz it got sooooooo kiddie i kicked my dog in the face in anger! Its a cool game to look at and play and im all for kiddie games, but i draw the line at that game. bummer too because i liked the game just not the characters.
On the side note LO has annoying kids too! but not untill your amped enough not to care.
I honestly loved both the games and both are in my top 5 rpgs of teh last while.
But overall id give Lost Odyssey my vote. Both are good rpgs but if you can only buy one then get Lost Odyssey and maybe just rent Eternal Sonata.
I personally gave Lost Odyssey a 9.5/10 and i think Eternal Sonata deserves a 8.5 at the lowest or a 9.0 at the most.
i would buy lost odyssey and rent eternal sonata. i beat it in 9 hours, and i'm sure it can be done much faster cause i took my time and trained up pretty high. lost odyssey is about 40 hours, plus a ton of awesome sidequests, and def worth buying.luigismansion101
no way. i know that the game is more linear that most RPGs, but it is in no way a 9 hour ride.
