Life is Starnge 2 Ep 2 GamePass question. FIXED :)

Hi all. Anyone know why I'm unable to play this game via GamePass.

I have it installed but it doesn't give me the option to play? Says other content required?

Anyone know what I'm missing? I have and played through the first episode.

Make sure you have episode 1 downloaded too. You should be gd after that..

Episode 1 was ok not really grabbing me like life is strange 1. Maybe need to give it a while longer.

Did you DL LiS 2 EP. 2 via GamePass and does it give you the option to play?

I played ep 1 through gamepass. If you downloaded it you should be able to carry on.

You see, that's the problem. I DL'ed it, shows installed but blanks out the "Play" tab with fine print under it saying " other content required"

I started a new game of Ep. 1 just to make sure it's all intact, quit and tried to see if I now can play Ep.2 but nope, still tells me the same shyt.

U nd Episode 1 downloaded bc it has the main menu in it too. I had the same issue after downloading Episode 2. Once I downloaded Episode 1 again it worked I was able to continue.

Thanks but I tried that yesterday in fact. Uninstalled Ep. 1 and reinstalled it, thought it worked but when I went to try it, nope, same problem. I just don't get it. lol

@SecretPolice: Have you tried deleting both, then installing 1 then 2.

Well, I tried I guess but since Ep2 isn't showing up in my game library ( it does say installed ) I tried to uninstall as usual but after pressing the start button it didn't bring up the usual options, one being to uninstall? I will try later to see how I'm supposed to uninstall a GP game that's not showing up as available games to play?

I’m telling you brah. Make sure Episode 1 is installed bc it carries the menu and stuff. If you played episode 1 the whole way through you can start episode 2. If you started over on episode 1 you nd to finish it to continue. If you have completed episode 1 then I would uninstall episode 1 and 2. Install episode 1 first then 2. Once I beat episode 1 I deleted it bc it was 19gb and I waited for episode 2 to drop in GP before reinstalling it. If you are gonna replay episode 1 I would delete your save file. Who knows it might help. Good luck bud.

Okay but I did finish Ep1 one quite a while ago but as I said, I did just uninstall and reinstall last night so perhaps I'll try completing Ep1 again but honestly it'll likely be a chore as someone else pointed out, LiS 2 doesn't seem to be as interesting to me as when I first played the first game.

Thanks to all for help and I'm happy to say after uninstalling everything and reinstalling everything it's now working perfectly. :D
