Lost odyssey and Tales of Vesperia are the best.

Must Play or you aren't a JRPG fan: Lost Odyssey / Tales of Vesperia / Eternal Sonata

I have Infinite Undiscovery but have not played it yet. I did not care one bit for Blue Dragon.

Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata are just great. Tales of Vesperia looks nice and plays really well, but the story, the voice acting and the music were kind of a letdown for me.

Tales of Vesperia isn't turn based and Eternal sonata is a bit of a hybrid. In ET you do take turns but you can move around the stage during your turn and attack/move but only it is limited.

Star Ocean was a pretty fun game but the voice acting and characters just dragged it down a lot. Though the game is still pretty fun and i enjoyed it a lot.

The only one of these I have is Lost Odyssey, and I'm actually having a hard time getting into it. I plan on picking up Tales of Vesperia, though. It looks awesome and all my friends brag about how great it is. So, maybe you should check that one out. If that "other" console is at your desposal you should check out Valkyria Chronicles. Its easily the best JRPG on that console. Its awesome. I play it constantly even though I beat it months ago. Its my fave. Its a Strategy RPG, though, so it plays a lot differently from the rest of these games. But its great in my opinion. Check it out if you can. Otherwise, definately go with Tales of Vesperia. TOV FTW!

Tales of Vesperia is simply amazing. That one is a winner. Haven't played Lost Odyssey yet, but I hear nothing but good things.

Lost odyssey, Tale of Vesperia, and Star Ocean 4. You have about 500 hours of gaming right there (if you like doing everything in JRPG).
