I'm thinking of buying RDR but not sure if I should get it on my PS3 or Xbox 360. Single player games I get on the Xbox because I like the controller better and dont have Xbox Live Gold. Multplayer games I get on the PS3 because of the free online. So is the online part of RDR active enough that I would get it on PS3?

Last i played was late 2012, and there were still tons of people to posse up with. The game has a pretty unique setting, so anyone interested in it still plays now and then it seems.

The single player game is even better, I think. Id suggest getting it for 360, as youll be playing it for a while either way, and suggesting anything else would be uncivilized :P

I haven't played in awhile, but it still seems pretty active from what I've read.  And Rockstar is still continually doing their bonus xp, play with devs type things for both RDR and GTA IV.
