i know what u mean...i tried playing modern warfare 2 and i was jumping all over the place and when i watched the kill cam it was so funny cause he shot me and i was sprinting in place lolpre3stonlol. Well, good thing you'll be moving into that apartment soon. :)
Hold on, I'll take the speedtest. I think mines slower and live out in the middle of no where too.
Xbox Live works fine for me.

Your ping is also 51 ms. Ping is key.

I was just about to post the same exact thing about MW2, except I don't have major problems. But what I see on my screen is somewhat different that the kill cam is showing me really happened. When I run around a corner and shoot someone my the kill cam says I didn't even run around the corner sometimes, the guy ran around and popped me. I live in the sticks too with no hope of better internet. I have the same speed as you are reporting, about 1.5mb down, .3 up. It sucks.
I'm pinging right at 52ms also. I always thought that was okay, but is it high enough to cause problems like I just reported?

Thanks. I've never knows what ping was until now. :P
in most cases yes, you're fine even with a slower connection. just as long as you don't host, you're fine.
I have a lower-end connection and it lags like crazy on Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead. I always just join a game instead of host. Not too much problems.
im guessin the thing thats killin me is the ping...852 i know is too muchpre3stonDid you take the test a few times to see if it would change?
For your sanity, I advise upgrading your connection before going online. Two reasons:
1. Position lag: you'll jump and skip all over the place making it extremely confusing and eye straining
2. You'll lose all the time: bad ping means 9/10 times your bullets will basically "fly slower" than the enemies', so you'll die and die and die and die. Consider this: ping is expressed in milliseconds, meaning that a 800ms ping gives you nearly a whole second delay on your opponent.
