Im from the UK and get mine about 25% cheaper if I shop around on the net but is this really thread worthy, you ain't getting live ok don't get it then.

yeah, its that new xbox live family plan thing. 4 live accounts for like $100 or so. imo its a great deal, even though i havn't used it so idk if theres any limitations(like being able to be forced to have 2 child accounts or something stupid like that)

I recently got mine from amazon for 34 dollars :D

They always have deals going on for LIVE. If you don't want to pay, fine. Then you don't get to play online.

im with tc and any one who defends microsoft grow a brain , ps3 and wiis online service is free , , and you know what, there are no ads everytime we load up

and on the 360 we pay and get ads! come on, if your gonna put ads in our faces make it free then , because you know what, ive never had disconecting issues until they put those ads on this thing ,

ads are ruining my game experience , especally on the main screen/xbox menu , what ever it is , it disconnects me almost all the time freases when theres a car ad half the time

i used to be like you coplaining about the price but then i thought about it.

your paying 60.00 a year right, so thendivide that by the 12 months thats 5.

so really your only paying 5 dolars a month for an easy basic interface and system to use to play online with your friends

if only smartphone cell plans were 60 bucks a year(heck even a month would be a relief to what they charge). But like many have said you gotta shop around and not always buy retail. Shoot last week(or maybe 2 weeks ago) XBL had them for 48.00 a year. amazon and ebay can be your friend-bought a 12 month for 33 bucks on ebay, personal ad got the code in like 4 minutes.

BTW the person who put the picture of the dog...Funny as hell, the dog's expression is priceless :)

Just so you guys know, if you check your local gamestop, walmart, etc they are probably still selling their old LIve cards for $50. I called Gamestop today and they said that they are selling it at that price until they get rid of all their old inventory. Jurassic85
