1. Sign out of xbox.com.
2. Go to www.xbox.com/rewards
3. Click "Sign in"
4. Once the next page loads, DO NOT sign in. Click "Register" on the left side of the screen instead.
Here is a picture of the page:

5. After you sign in, fill out the information, and check the "I agree to the terms" box
6. Once you sign up, YOU ARE NOT READY TO GET ACHIEVEMENTS YET. You need to go to this page and sign up for the challenge (this currently is not working for me)

I was able to go to the sign in page and enter my password but then it just went to the blank screen.

i did click sign in and i get a blank page that says continuebolt33
Make sure you sign out of xbox.com first. Once I signed out of xbox.com the rewards sign in came up right away.

well you're half right because u can get to the website after u sign out, unfortunately after u do sign in it brings u back to the continue screen

I signed out of xbox.com, went to the rewards page and then clicked sign in on there. There was no register button.

this is just idiotic, they should have let people register earlier and then started the contest at a given date. then there wouldn't be such a overload on the site. starting the contest before being able to register is just stoopid

Yep, good call OP, good call. Man, its crazy how many hoops you have to jump through to sign up for MS stuff. Its never simple and its never not croweded as hell and the servers always crash. Get it together microsoft.

Why do I have to register I already have an account?

You have to register for "Xbox Rewards" separately for some reason. I have no idea why.

thanks worked for me!!! if its not working for you

1. make sure ur signed out

2. go to www.xbox.com/rewards

3. click sign in

4. on the left side of this page it says register,  CLICK REGISTER!

5. put in ur email and pass

6. you began registration!

Worked for me. Just sign out of Xbox.com guys. Then click register now once it takes you to the second page.

I think once you are signed up you can start getting achievements right away

i finally got it to work just do what they say sign out go to xbox.com/rewards and  press sign in. then click register as pointed out and you should get in, now to like get some achievements

some of you aren't listening to this guy. After you hit sign up on the rewards page, DO NOT SIGN IN. Look to the lower left and click REGISTER FOR XBOX REWARDS

ok, it kinda worked now... the register button didnt show up til i was logged out of xbox.com and tried it... BUT after it verified my contact info it just went to a page that has a 'return to my xbox rewards' link... clicking that just went to the same 'continue' blank page....

Just go back to the xbox.com/rewards page and it will show your info.

It doesn't matter. Once it shows that page you are signed up. There is no need to "return to xbox rewards"

hes right   when u click sign in on the rewards page its sends u to the windows live id sign in page and at the bottom left it says register now and it lets you go through that way.

1. Make sure you are signed out of xbox.com 2. On the LEFT side of the screen, there is a register button

I have't been able to do the "join now" thing once you are inside XBox rewards. Anyways, does anyone know if this is a race once you get in? or if you register frst, then get all you points you get your prize?

step one: make sure you are signed out

step two: go to the xbox.com/rewards page

step three:  click sign in on that page

step four: when goes to the sign in page DONT: look at the left of the screen and to the bottom for the register now button.

step five: click it

step six: sign in

step seven: fill out information

SIGN OUT OF XBOX.COM! It's that simple! After this go to xbox.com/rewards and click sign in. Once you do this look to the left side of the screen.

Yeah, it just worked for me.. But all I did was registered for the xbox rewards. We still have to wait till the sites back up before we can register for the old spice xbox rewards challenge... Right?
