How much money are you spending on yourself this year?

Way too much. I'm getting Fable II pub games and CASTLE CRASHERS this month.

Next month, I'm getting Viva Pinata 2 myself. I'm also getting Final Fantasy IV (DS remake) and Spore for some JC results but that's something else.

In October, I'm getting Fable II and Fallout 3.

In November, I'm getting Gears 2 and Banjo Kazooie.

I'm sure I won't be able to afford all of them straight away but I hope I can get them. I'm not sure how much that is in euro. And then for the proceeding 6 months after Christmas, I'll be trying to catch up on games I've missed this year.

Not to mention I'm getting a PS3 this Christmas. I feel sad now after noticing how much money is being spent on games.....

Through this thread, I'm starting to realize that us gamers are spending SOO much money. I mean, I know people are willing to spend alot for their favorite hobby, but some of these people are 12, 13 years of age and saving up their money so they can spend 400 dollars on THEMSELVES this holiday.

I just can't really comprehend that.

When I was 12-13, I was gaming... but they were much cheaper back then... I still remember going to Bulletproof to go get Super Metroid for the first time after begging my mom for $20... now I work so hard to save to purchase a game and hope that I have enough money after buying a game to live/eat...

According to my wishlist. $449, but ebay is a saint.
