I am planning to get the xbox 360 special edition for xbox 360 is it better than GH3? I played GH3 and i like it. I wonder if Rock Band is better? So should i drop 170 and get rock band or pass cuz it sucks?
I like Rock Band a lot more for numerous reasons, the songs are really good, its not needlessly hard on hard/expert (aka, they don't add notes in just for the sake of adding notes) and the gameplay is just more solid as in you actually have to hit the note when it goes across where as in GHIII you can be a fraction of a second early or late and still get the note.
I just purchased Rock Band this weekend. I enjoy it. I have never played GH3 so I can not give you a comparison, but from what I hear the guitar on Rock Band is simpler then GH3. Vocals are fun and drum are hard. Some great songs are available as well. My wife who is a non-gamer has actually taken interest in Rock Band and even wanted to play with out me initiating it. So for me it was worth it.
Very very good, if you're willing to keep up with the downloadable content. They're $2 a song, which is the same as GH3, but you get the added bonus of four difficulty levels on not only the guitar, but mic and drums too. GH3 gives you only four difficulty levels on guitar. They come out with at least three new songs every week, and eventually full albums to download too, so they're doing a hell of a lot better than GH3.
Beyond awesome, way cooler than GH if you ask me. And if you already have GH and don't want to shell out the cash for the whole bundle just get the disc, it's still really cool.
In easy is it just the first 3 notes like in guitar hero or is it all 5?

Yes, but only on the guitar. If you play on the drums, you have to utilize everything, but thankfully easy is just to build up on your accuracy and precision skills.
