Way back in the NES days when I was a kid my dad called it the En-tendo. Just cause he does funny things like that also he hated when I played it and thought games were retarded now he play PC games and is even getting a Xbox soon so we can play LOTR conquest on Xbox live when it comes out. My how times have changed lol.
I've heard my mom call it the Nintendo, gamebox, waste of time, mindless game box, video tv box game and then my dad has called it the Ipod, Bipod, or crap box (he jokes around a lot though). they've caught on though and now they call it the xbox. My grandma has always been the best with the names lol i guess it's cause my grandparents are the only ones that will buy me games for Christmas. My parents pretty much hate games (Although my dad will play puzzle games with me like braid or portal) lol parents and videogames don't go together.
My parents actually pay attention to my gaming. My birthway was recently and they got me a PS3, I don't know how they knew I didn't have one but they did.
I have heard other parents call everything a "Game Box X", which is an interesting combination.
My dad sounds like hank hill kinda, which is funny because im canadain. Before i moved out, he was always like 'You play to much of them dam viddea games'.
video game... hey how about u unplug that video game and do ur homework etc. but better than calling it garbage, my dad calls it that...hahahaahot_juicy_steak
