How do I cancel my automatic renew gold subscription

I just don't want to keep paying

I would also appreciate it if someone could provide instructions on how to do this. Ive been needing to cancel my 2nd account for a while...

From what I remember, I had to end up calling in order to have my credit card removed from my account. Then they tried to persuade me with free games and accessories to keep my membership.

Kind of BS and a huge hassle for no reason.

I had to call like 4 times to finally get my card off of there!!! I bought 1 month for $10 and every month they would renew it.

They act like Xbox Live should be your top priority

If you have a 1 month subscription card(not sure if 48 hour ones work as well but probably) use it.Once the month is up you will be downgraded to silver account and you will be asked if you want to renew your subscription....obviously you say no.The auto renewel will only recommence if you renew your subscription again using your credit card.At least this is what happened to me anyway.
