Lol I was just about to post a similar topic, although my 360 just got the 3 dreaded red lights and I'm having to send it in for repair; so I'll have to go about a month without gaming. Anyhow, here's some suggestions I've thought of. There are some really good novels based on gears of war, mass effect, and halo. I'm actually reading Gears of War: Aspho Fields right now and loving it; it kind of jumps around between different time periods, but it gives you lots of background on Marcus and Dom and gives better insight into the struggles humanity faces in surviving aside from just beating back the locust, as well as all the problems humanity will face when and if they ever wipe out the locust. Also, I'm probably getting some new games for christmas, and luckily some of my friends have a 360 so, well you know the rest. So do those ideas help?
There are loads of good games that you can buy used very cheaply just because they are old. Go to your nearest Gamestop and see what they have. New consoles used to come with Hexic HD, which I guess they still do? Also there are a few free XBLA games you can download, but they aren't great. Aegis Wing, Yaris (both US only), and Dash of Destruction.

My 360 broke about 3 months ago, I bought a Wii and sold it 3 weeks later, that was over 2 months ago. I have been without games for farrrr to long trying to get money for a PS3, haha.

I'm a college student, go out regularly, ski, work, and generally have a normal life but I still have time to play 2-3 hours most days. Everyone has different hobbies and not everyone likes to party all the time or be social butterflies like you obviously do. Gaming is a hobby just like anything else, and there's nothing wrong with spending time doing what you enjoy, regardless of what that may be. Maybe you should stop trying to sound cool, I promise that most of us are far from the reclusive nerds with huge glasses you apparently see us as. Oh, and BTW, flaming gamers in your first post on a site dedicated to gamers after going through the time to create an account on said site is pretty sad. Besides it's Christmas break, shouldn't you be out being popular/cool? Or at least thinking you are?
Well, first and foremost, the Pro currently comes with the holiday bundle with Lego indy and Kung Fu Panda. Play those for one. You could also download some of the freeware games that are on the XBLA as well - most recent being Dash of Destruction (Doritos-sponsored); then there's also the Yaris game ( :lol: ), and Aegis Wing. the Doritos game will provide some easy gamerscore, and Aegis Wing is actually quite fun, especially when you can play with other people (though the score-based achievements you pretty much have to do on your own). I wouldn't bother with the Yaris game though; it's basically shovelware. Other than that, get some demo's off the marketplace for games you might want to play.
Yup... Also Aegis Wing is free you just gotta download it. It can be played online too with that 1 month trial. 4 days is nothing if you actually have a social life. I can go weeks without touching my 360.

Well if you have live then you could download demos and play those that could keep you busy for about a week. If not just play the arcade game trails it came with, hexic hd is free and it's the whole game. you could also borrow a game from a friend. Or you could do something non-video game related. Read, go to a movie, i don't know there are tons of stuff to do.
