Why do people like GTA so much? I'm not saying they aren't fun games, just that I don't see them on the same level as games like Halo/Gears/Half-Life/Oblivion etc.
Rockstar needs to seriously up the ante if they intend to make GTAIV any good... Ever since GTAIII it's been down hill for the franchise, with nothing but repetition, repetition and some more repetition. They've almost pulled an EA, just cashing in with the name.
Having never been a fan of the HALO series...i'm more EXCITED about GTA, but i'm not implying it'll be "BETTER" than HALO...no one knows yet...and really "better" is a matter of subjectivity.

Halo 3 without competition. GTA has been boring me lately.
On a 360 board your bound to get halo. I would personally say Halo 3 though. GTA might be reaching the point of too many things to do. I mean in San Andreas i worked out, ate for energy, hell i even got a haircut. In GTA 4 i will probably have to take dumps so I dont go in my pants.
Is this question a joke. GTA is the same darn game every single time a new one comes out. Hey look at Crackdown it is the same open world game but it is actually fun cause you are a freaking super cop.
