The game has zero recoil so I can just sit there and spam a long line of 100% accuracte fire :P
Na but seriously, the spec ops mode seems the most interesting to me. I'm sure multiplayer will be fun as well but I am more amped for the co-op spec ops.
Edit: didn't realise shotguns were seconary weapons. Now you can use sniper rifles and an automatic shotgun together without having to sacrafice a perk slot.

If you die like 3 times in a row without getting a kill, then you can use one of your death streaks such as final stand which, when you die acts similar to last stand except you can throw grenades, use your primary weapons, crawl around and revive.
THE NEW DESERT EAGLE. I can't wait to use it. It looks so much better; the old one looked like a block with a notch in it. AND.......attatchments on the deagle!!!!!

Uh, actually you won't be able to be in an XBL party while playing multiplayer. IW has actually taken the use of XBL parties out of MW2. Online communication somewhat died with the whole XBL party thing.
But the thing that I am most excited for is the new kill streaks, weapons, attachments, and the multiplayer as a whole. I can't wait!
Being able to play an online game together with all my friends. It hasn't been like that since Gears 2 dropped.
The story will be interesting for sure, but the MP is what I'm really psyched for. The new weapons and perks will be nifty for the first couple of months and the youtube vids that will flood the internet for the next couple of months.
The story was quite intersting so I decided to buy it. When I first brought it I beat it and even though I beat it in 6hours, I still had fun and to this day I still play the game. I might retire COD 4 or maybe sell it. Dunno yet.
Im not really excited by this game sure i liked modern warfare but call me old fashioned but i prefer world war 2 any day,i loved call of duty 3 and 5 and hoe to see another COD in that era.
The addictive, solid and(in this case) refined/upgraded shooting action I've come to expect from the Call of Duty franchise. Single player sounds very promising...much more then the first MW any way. Multiplayer....ehhh. I'll wait to see if that's as good as I want it to be. Upgrading perks sounds very...iffy. Balance issues could be a huge problem. I love COD4/WaW's multi a lot. But this is giving me a few scares. And personalized kill streaks could also lead to some issues, especially with newer players or uber players who destroy all in their path WITHOUT use of upgraded perks and killstreaks.
One reason? I'm buying MW2 for a thousand reasons! Well, the most important reason would probably be that I seriously honestly think that it will be my favourite game of all time. I have never, I repeat, NEVER, been this excited about any game. Actually, it's the first game ever that I have preordered! I mean, even without Spec Ops it would be mind-blowing, but with Spec Ops it's gonna be even more awesomeee!!! MODERN WARFARE 2! :D
For me, Modern Warfare was the best game I've ever played so it's a no-brainer. In fairness, I'm married with kids and I literally don't play or own any other games. But CoD4 was pretty tough to beat and all of my friends will be moving over to MW2, so I'm crazy excited.
"Superior in content and effects to MW1." A love for MW1 Multiplayer engine. I mean, i had it from release to now and i still pick it up and play it. I even see over 5 or 10 thousand people still playing across all the game types. The only thing I have hope for is that they have a reward for completing all the challenges. Even if it means... the reward is an image.
