Gears of War or Rainbow 6 Vegas? Which is better?

I am the other way round. Think rainbow story is more compelling and range of environments more exciting, but multiplayer in Gears is way better! Mind you - I am not so good at multiplayer in Rainbow...;)

You should go for Rainbow 6 cos the multiplayer in gears constantly descends into people running round in circles with shotguns. There is a lot more variety in RB6V plus you can customise the way your guy (or gal) looks. I wish they'd release an outfit pack DLC. And before you ask no I am not gay lolvitriolboy

......umm...no? They are both shooters, both on the 360, both have coop, both have online, both have similar game modes, both games use the same cover system, and both games have a high-budget production.

Anyways, Gears of War isn't good. It's very boring, repetitive, shallow, and over rated. But Gears of War's singleplayer is still better than Vegas'. Vegas' single player is extremely boring. Between the too, Vegas wins because the online is much better.

I already posted that RB6 was better online but I'v been getting into Gears online properly lately, I didn't really give it a chance but its better than I thought

I have both but I dont prefer one over the other they are both very different games. GOW is one of the sweetest lookin games ever and very smooth...But when i'm in the mood for quick blood lust a game of Terrorist hunt on high and realistic setting Vegas for pick up and play is gr8.

I prefer Rainbow over Gears by ALOT, and I think Gears is a great game but Rainbow Six is a classic for me.

I haven't play Rainbow 6 yet so i can't say i don't like it. so for now I'm going to have to say gears.

Why would you say anything if you havn't played Both??? but I'd say R6V. R6V has WAY more depth to it. Gears is pretty bare bones. (I'm talking about multiplayer). Gears does Look better, but IMO R6V is much more fun.

personally i don't like their imaginations of future weapons and warfares.. i think it will becompletely wrong,they just make the guns rotund and they fire everything toghether,grenades,laser ray,bullets,bombs,very ugly wears also,example..take a look at halo chatacter wears,Casquet,it's full of unnecessary things,etc....that's why i don't like halo series and gow,but r6 series; they work on this kind of games since 10 years from the first game of the series.now they are really pro on this,very real and acceptable gameplay they made,so i suggest rainbow 6 vegas!

You have it all backwards... gears for multi player, rainbow for single... easy.... but why not get call of duty 4 if you are getting vegas or better yet wait until rainbow six vegas 2 comes out in march
