For those of you familiar with the Gears of War series each game kills off one of the brothers in the Carmine family. We lost one in #1, another in #2 and, for #3, they're allowing the public to decide whether the 3rd brother lives or dies. Of course, they're charging you for this "priveledge" and getting free advertising in the process.
To vote you need to purchase some avatar clothing for 80ms from the Gears 3 page in the Live Marketplace. Sales for each shirt type will be tallied and we'll find the result when Gears of War 3 is released.
What I wanted to know though is what GameSpotters thought should happen. You won't be charged for your opinion and it won't make any difference to the end result but will be interesting to see what people think.
Do you like the "South Park Kenny" theme of killing him every game or would you like a more "Saving Private Ryan" approach where you spare the life of one of the remaining sons in this family? Also what do you think about the way they've done this? I like the idea but don't like that they're charging. The game advertising should be enough, they should just offer the shirts for free... although I suppose people would just get both then.... oh well.
