Hey that's pretty good. I've had mine since September last year and mine's only 8375, and I'm 18! Bearing in mind I've had a huge amount of work and revision this year and the previous year.

No, it's not. Because no gamerscore is "good". It just shows how much time you put into video games. You aren't better just because you have more points than somebody else.
Im 14 and hav 13820 gamerscore and ive had it since last november so it isnt age its how good and doin certain stuff on games or if u can paly a game on a harder diffficlulty
i have had mine for little over a year and have a little over 3k. I never played for points really most of the time on my xbox has been spent playing gears system linked or in no ranked matches in gears. The only game I am going to get 1000/1000 is Mass Effect Because I really like that game and the achievements won't be a chore like a lot of games.
I've had mine for 2 years and my gamerscore is around 21k. I don't play any game specifically to get acheievements, but when I am playing I do find myself doing certain things just to unlock achievements.
I wouldn't worry about whether your gamerscore is "good", it mostly just reflects how many different games you have played.

Jesus christ. You people with over at least 20,000 scare me. 20k isn't exactly high considering how long the 360 has been out and some ppl got at launch so why would that scare you?

Wrong alot of achievements are actually hard to get and it shows an overall picture of how experienced or inexperienced the gamer is also shows games your friends are more intrested in.
