Gamerpoints, can anyone clear this up for me?

This might be a dumb question but am I able to use my earned gamerpoints towards downloads? If so, how? Or do I simply have to give up my credit card number if I want to get shivering isles through the marketplace?    Thanx in advance. 

Gamerpoints do not count towards dlc's.

You can get points to download by dlc's by putting in your credit card number and buying them or by going anyplace that sells Xbox stuff and buying a points card wiht cash so you don't have to put in a credit card number.

Or just do a reward system. like xboxrewards, if you get 1000 achivement points, you get 200 MS points to go use to by some thing.Sodium_Free
