Theyre only 59.99.
Woohoo, 10 more bucks?
Devs spend over a year making these games to keep me entertained then you can damn well bet they get my money aslong as I think the game is good enough.

Well said. I agree with you on that. If their too expensive just rent them first or wait for the price to go down on the game you want.
i dont care thats way too much money to spend on a game what happened to the good ol $49.99 days?-SiiLeNCE-
theres always Gamefly 8)
I felt this way until I saw how much the $60 is really necessary in the Dec. issue of OXM, the extra $10 isn't being done to make a quick buck, if it wasn't for this extra amount, the games devekopers would hardly profit at all from a next-gen game...jamejame
Why does it cost so much more than computer games? The extra $10-$20 goes to MS doesn't it?

indeed.. and games in denmark are $100 and have always been. Some people just complain too much -.-
Just keep a eye out for sales,
This week at circuit city alone you can get Cod4 and Cod3 together for 59.99, and VF5 for 39.99... great deals on games imo.
its only 10 $ more for ps3 and 360 games, and to the one who saID id pay 100 for a game ,, sorry no one will pay 100 for a game, that is not even worth the cost now and i dont think they will start charging one hundred per game bc then it wont sell just like those neo geo titles back then that went for 200$mariokart64fan
those neo geo titles go for $200 still if not more. that was top of the line home arcade (at the time)
and im pretty sure EVERYONE remembers the goldeneye price gouging

Yeah games aren't cheap. But you have to get used to it. I only get mad when its a "game" like Shadowrun. I mean 70 bucks for some lack luster multi payer maps, WAY TOO MUCH.
Would you rather just have video games stay in the last generation so everything can be $50 agian? I didn't think so...matt2012
To be honest I wouldn't mind, the PS2 was arguably the greatest system ever with one of the best librairies of games of all time. But I still love my 360 :P

Ok, what you said makes sense and I agree but remember if a game does well these days it makes about 60 million dollars not counting DLC now granted I'm not sure what the production costs are for games these days but I doubt its any where near that much money so I guess what I'm trying to say is they could have stuck with the 49.99 price tag and still made their money back and a lot more.

$9 goes to the publisher overhead, developement costs eats up $20, Microsoft Licensing to Manufacturing is $12, $7 goes to marketing, and $12 goes to the retailer. Nothing's really making much of a profit, though you're right, MS is still taking the biggest chunk...[QUOTE="5TEELY"][QUOTE="-SiiLeNCE-"]i dont care thats way too much money to spend on a game what happened to the good ol $49.99 days?ejstrup

wii games are cheaper yet everyone and their mother wants one so by your logic wii play should cost $200.00.
