Fallout 3 - Weird hand growth things?

This is really confusing me. I have played this game for about 8 hours... mostly in first person. Came out to third person to check out my characters new hair-do and he has some weird things growing from his hands upwards. Went to the clinic and healed everything possible there and this changed nothing.

It looks kinda weird.

Anyone else have this at all?

Wow thats pretty strange lol maybe too much radiation? Im 4.5 hrs in and I havent looked at my character in 3rd person for more than a few seconds so idk, sounds interesting though, did you kill the overseer? Just wondering I kinda kiled him on accident :DXprimeX
