Do I neee to buy xbox live if its a home box game share?

My brother set my xbox up as one of his 5 as his home box. Game share. I can use his digital games. I loaded my new box up with the 1 month of free live gold. Will I need to get my own live after it expires or don't I have to since he made my box one of his 5 and he already has live.

Note: He has 5 Home Xbox changes per 12 month period and you can only have one Home Xbox. If he changes what console is is 'Home Xbox' you will lose the sharing functionality.
