sometimes, that's why i don't play fps , for more than 3 hours. i only play when i feel like it. When i play halo i have to walk around in forge so i can get use to the movement. cuz sometimes when i jump right into the game, i get pretty dizzy moving around. it's wierd but it happens from time to time. but if you get to the poin that you might need to vomit, then i would suggest that you should stop playing for a couple hours, sitting in front of the screen to much isn't that good anyway.

Oddly, generally only Valve ones do. Specifically Half-Life 2 and it's expansions.

Thats not very unusuall. In fact its already been figured out why its so specific to the Valve games. A lot of their games use significant amount of "head bob" for movement, and the effect makes a lot of people feel sick. On the PC version, you can disable the effect via the console, but I dont think theirs a way to change it on the 360 or PS3.

The only time I get dizzy is when the FOV is too narrow (below 65 degrees) or the FPS is too low (below 20).

Not all FPS's but some like Killzone 2, Battlefield: Bad Company, and Oblivion (I know it isn't a shooter but still first person)

I never get motion sickness or anything when playing FPS, or any other games. You should see a doctor before playing those games though.
