Im unable to try this now, but is it possible to burn previously ripped music FROM a 360 TO a CD or device?

No Sorry but you can write down the songs and download them and burn them to a cd

that sucks, i had a cd that was a school production and my cd case was stolen, and the only place i have it backed up on is my 360

You could connect your xbox's audio out to your PC's line-in or microphone port and use a program like Audacity to record the audio and save it as a wav or mp3.
