bIg releases all at the same time: which are you buying?

a huge number of big name games are being released all very close together in May

• Lost Planet 2
• Alan Wake
• Skate 3
• Red Dead Redemption
• Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
• Split/Second
• UFC Undisputed 2010
• Blur
• Alpha Protocol

so obviously not everyone is going to be excited by all these games, but they are all coming out over a 3 week period and they all look extremely good from what iv seen so far,

they are all games that had they been coming out at different times then i would have bought, but with them all coming out so close together iv been forced into choosing my 2 favourites as i cant possibly afford them all

after much thought iv decided on Red Dead Redemption and Blur, whats everyone else choosing?

Red Dead Redemption. Alan Wake after.

I'm trying to see if I have time for Skate 3, Red Dead Redemption, ALan Wake, and Blur

So far I need Blur for Multiplayer and RDR has been a must have since it was announced and then playing it sealed the deal, Alan Wake's limited edition with the commentary sounds awesome but Skate 3's demo with the fixed camera angle is a blast to play

Maybe the one left out will be Skate 3?

See you get ten bucks back for Blur and RDR and Skate 3 from Amazon so that's 30 bucks right there then you get a free skate park and free golden guns for RDR so there's extra incentive there as well. You get a free avatar T shirt and theme for getting Alan Wake but the limited edition already has that so it's like do I grab that at launch too? Do I get the first three and use the credit on the limited? What happens if the limited sells out because the regular version doesn't have the commentary. I mean Amazon is doing 10 dollars back on the regular Alan Wake but you miss out on a lot of stuff

It's a tough choice deciding on launch titles, so far I know I'm getting two for sure and then depending on what my schedule looks like it's going to grow

Red Dead Redemtion is a must have for me - - Not sure about Alan Wake just yet. I need to check out more gameplay videos, etc.

If I were to buy one of them, it'd probably be Lost Planet 2 or Alan Wake, but I haven't really been following any of those games.

TBH none of them really excite me that much.

These are the one's I'm looking forward to most. Being they're released on the same day, I'll probably pick up RDR first but IDK :P

Out of that list I'd say I'm more inclined to try out Alan Wake.It's been a long time coming and looks really cool. However, I doubt I'll be buying a new game in May, so I'll have to pick it up later on down the line.

None of them i'm waiting for Mafia 2.

I'm definitely going for Alan Wake and Lost Planet 2, but before those, Super Street Fighter IV !! hell yeah! and also I want to buy Bioshock 2 !

RDR all the way, but Alpha Protocol will probably make it into my house just after release also.

Alan Wake has dropped to the bottom of my list now that I see what they're doing with it, I don't have time for that nonsense

To replace it I think Skate 3 is going up the charts

Gong to take advantage of the Gamestop trade-in offer for RDR (trading Borderlands and MW2) and also probably pick up Alan Wake. The best part about them coming out around the same time is that my b'day is next week. So I will most likely be able to land those 2 and maybe 1 more.

RDR for sure. A world twice the size of GTA:SA, sign me up!

I currently have lost planet 2, alan wake, red dead redemption and mario glaxy 2 all preorder through amazon.com. it is kind of cool because I am getting 10 dollar gift cards for lost planet 2, alan wake and red dead redemption and a 20 dollar gift card for mario glaxy. So I will be able to buy another game for free basically. I was going to get Metriod Other M but it looks like it will not be out for a while so I might grab Sin and Punishment 2.
