I need a new game, and I'm looking for a FPS, the best one I've played so far is PREY, i need a new game that has some play time in it, what are the best FPS you guys have played?
Already beat both of those lol, i tried playing rainboow 6 online after a while, but it just got old, i got bored really quick with games i dont know whats wrong with me, but i beat most of them, then try playing online then move on, ive got Rainbow 6 vegas, Gears (3rd person but same kinda game im lookin for) Graw 1 and 2, COD 2 and 3, lost planet, perfect dark, Tomb raider, FEAR, and hitman, ive got all thsoe and i really like all those, its just i beat them all and they really dont have a good replay value, or atleast for me, know of any other ones????
Just read your other post. It looks like you've already got all there is as far as shooters go, for this gen atleast. Sooo, I'd suggest you grab Half-Life 2 out of the original xbox bargain bin if you haven't played it yet, or wait for the collossal "Orange Box" to come this fall.

Earth Defense Force =). But other than that Gears of War. I mean Vegas has its fun side but I had a ton of laughs in GOW for some reason. It's just fun to laugh when someone pulls and an insane kill and everyone in the match is going crazy. I didn't find that in Vegas nor BF2. BF2 was like barren when it came to communication. Fear well that is another story it is an awesome game but nothing beats GOW for me by far. If Earth Force was Live I would fall in love, well it should have more than two players. Just think about it...... playing online with 30 other people and fighting swarms and swarms of giant ants and other alien life-forms. Sorry for the long post =P

Eww, you like prey? I thought that game was awful. Anyway, check out quake4. Its a solid FPS and to be honost, one of my favorites on the system. It doesn't have have the framerate problems jeff grestman said it did either. Runs pretty smooth for the most part.
right now im a little burnt out on fps and have been residing in the universe of g.o.w, its just that when you look at the fps' to come out for the beloved 360, present fps games seem a thwarted i mean the line up consist of orange box, bioshock, huxley, haze (timed exclusive to the ps3) medal of honor: airborne, hells highway, bad company, cod4, and just a ton of others. you gotta remember though that every time a new fps comes out you'll eventually get tired of it but then theres the few that offer an experience that just cant be duplicated like counterstrike and wolfenstien: enemy territory but hey thats the life we fps fiends lead and it will continue to be that way.

Right now I'd say either R6 Vegas or F.E.A.R. But there are three games in the future that will top those easily - 1) Half-Life 2: Orange 2) Unreal Tournament 3 3) Halo 3 (that order)

Yeah, it's the bomb if you like games with absolutely 0 challenge. It kinda defeats the purpose when you're invincible the whole game. Not to mention the horribly unbalanced and laggy multi-player.
And I'd skip Quake 4. Just be patient and wait for the crapload of great FPS we're gonna be getting soon.

I liked Quake 4 a lot. Its about 8 to 10 hours long. No one plays on Live anymore so it wont last long though.
Quake 4 is $14.99 NEW at gamestop, and is a very decent FPS. The critics were extremely harsh with their ratings, especially involving the frame rate as it only noticeably slows down in certain situations...Like most games do. The story is creative and the campaign should last you a good 10 hours, with a ton of replay value if you're into achievements. The game also comes with a free copy of Quake 2! I bought it new and thought I got my money's worth, so with a $15 price tag, I'd say go. Now.
halo 2 is the best FPS for 360. but other good shooters are of course GeoW, GRAW2, and even though i dont play it, alot of people on my firends list still play battlefiend moder combat.
yeah Quake 4 is awesome and so is Prey, except for never dying. if you can never die (because you're native american)Â in that game then how come your grandfather died? Quake 4 is by far one of the funnest FPS I have ever played. Or you could wait until Shadowrun comes out. Or you could grab a copy of the Godfather, or you could get FarCry. There's lots of FPSs out for Xbox 360
