Not at all. I am pumped for Fable 3,Fallout NV, and Star Wars TFU2 though. I don't really see myself ever wanting to use the lame gimmick that is motion control...
Yeah... Kinectanimals and.... Kinect Adventures are going to be awesome.. Not (wow that was clever..) 1up and Destroid have both said that Kinect made Child of Eden absolutely terrible.... So the tech just doesn't work. Dance Central looks neat tho... Not 200 dollars neat, but neat none the less.
Is this a serious thread? This is the best thing for 360 in 2 years? I agree with airshocker, i'm dreading seeing the flood of casual games hitting the shelves with the kinect label on it.

Not really, it's cool and all but the games make me wanna commit suicide, kinectimals? Kinect Adventures? really if they get cool games, such as gears of war, or fall out, then maybe, but until then no, its just like the play station's eye toy, fun for a week then its only for a microphone.
I'll probably buy it. But "pumped"? No. I'll buy it for the dashboard functionality cause I'm a gadget who're. But until they develop something that uses motion in conjunction with my controller, and isn't a Wii-hash, that's all I'll be using it for.

I do have some optimism that Kinect can make use of it's technology for something worthwhile... someday. However, that day is certainly not happening any time soon.
My wife is buying a kinect so i dont have to waste money on it so in that regard yes i guess i am a little excited i get to play something new and fresh. Although i already have a wii maybe games like child of eden will end up being something a bit different.
no. but it is encouraging froma perspective that games are moving away from shoot em' up violence to fondling animals. i guess though that was to be expected anyway with something like kinect. the only differencei see between that and the wii is it does away with a gamepad and has online featuresbut the wii has done what the kinect is trying to do again and people are buying into it! i won't be.

You forgot the fact that the games are in HD. The wii hurts my damn eyes with the terribad graphics.
I personally think that child of eden is going to rock with the motion control, it looked pretty tight at E3.
I'm actually more excited about all the awesome games that are gonna be coming out in the next 4-5 months. I couldn't care less about dancing like an invalid in front of my tv. I play games to have fun, not to look like an idiot playing lame ass motion controlled sports games.
