Why not get them all? LOL When you become an adult you can't afford 60 dollar video games when you have a mortgage and a family to support, you must choose wisely.
Which brings me to my question about this game, I wanted to be fired up for it but everytime I see a trailer or video for it everything seems to be the same color, enemies are spaced out 1 or 2 at a time, and it does not look that much fun when I can just use my VATS from far awayaway and bascially kill everything with a pre-determined head shot. Is there more to this game that I am not seeing? Will everything look like the first lvl where its green tinted and boring?

yea I agree with, thats all I see as well
Yeah im getting fallout 3 but why is everyone so hyped about Gears 2?. Gears one was pretty boring.division_9
Finally! I think the same thing. Gears of War wasn't that great, and yet everyone is obsessed with this second one coming out.

Exsactly my thoughts also :)
It kind of depends on how The Last Remnant scores. I'm really looking forward to Fable 2 and Farcry 2, both of which I'm picking up the same day. Then there is a whole host of games coming out for the Christmas season. If The Last Remnant scores poorly then I'll pick up Fallout 3, otherwise I'll put that on the back burner as a drought period game.

same here rofl
you get points for the VATS system. that means you'll only get to use it when your swamped with enemies
Finally
after hearing the massive hype of gears of war
rushed to my 360 and by about 10 mins in i was just like meh
and played cod4
i dont see it that fun chainsawing people ?
maby giddy 11 year olds do put its just to sick
Yeah, I'm sick of people complaining about VATS. It's not like that's all you do. The combat system actually seems very cool and fun. Ocasionaly you'll use the VATS, which can also be very cool, but it isn't going to get so over used that it becomes cheap. The game designers are too smart to have overlooked something that obvious.AlbionsHeroyeah VATS cant be used all the time anyway you need action points to use it
Is everyone crazy???
Why would you NOT get Fallout 3???
And I'm tired of everyone saying that they are going to get Fable 2 first, or they can't decide. Maybe the people that are saying this are young, or they just have a lack of maturity. Either way, they can't see that Fallout 3 is for more serious gamers, and carries a dark overtone which Fable 2 does not.
The first Fable was fun, but to me, grew tiresome because of the cartoon style of the world and characters. The game in my opinion is for 12-16 year olds, not adults. To me, Fable 2 looks to be just the same, just with more to do.
And YES, I have seen all of the developer diaries that you can download off of Xbox Live. I've looked at scads of photos.
I just have a hard time taking this game seriously, and always look forward to games like Fallout 3 that continue the path for the serious gamer.
At least my 13 year old brother is going to get Fable 2 I think. So there you go. :)
