I can say I am angry that I chose the 360. My 360 has given me so many problems....it freezes, this disc reader jams, every once in a while you hear a scratching noise when your loading a game and it says "the game could not be read" eve though theres no problem with the game... Too bad It won't just red ring already because I'm fed up with my xbox. I would sell it if it wasn't for Halo 3, Gears of War, and plus I have my Guitarh Hero/ Rock Band instruments for it. If you're going to make a console please make sure the thing won't be destroy itself over time....I've seen countless people on their 5th and 6th xbox and such. I'm personally on my 2nd, but I don't even care anymore. I've been microshafted enough from the amount of times I've had to restart games, or the amount of times that I've been in the middle of an important scene in a game and it will freeze.

Yes i am, i had so much trouble with it. it all started in its second month, i knew buying a cheap console will give me so much trouble. and then i ended up buying a second ps3 :P.
i somewhat regret it, yes. i only play on weekends and recently it's been starting to freeze. i can smell an RROD coming. oh and i got my xbox in december. i knew i shouldve gotten a ps3!

Fallout 3 just has problems that is what made me mad about the game. I actually experienced a game breaking glitch and thought my xbox 360 was going to die soon. Though after the first dlc the update fixed most of the bigger issues and no problems after that.
I am mad...but its the lesser of three evils for me. I'm not a big fan of the games for the Wii, since I consider myself a more hardcore player. I used to be into the Playstation consoles, but the PS3 is lacking many great titles. The only great ones so far have been Killzone 2, the Resistance series, Metal Gear Solid IV and LittleBigPlanet. Yeah, the PS3 doesn't have many hardware flaws AND it sports a Blu-Ray player, but its so costly. i stick to the 360 because the 360 has better quality games for a lesser price. I hope the look to improving the 360 tho, as I would love to play and not fear getting the RROD or the other new errors.
Not really, simply because I got an Elite model, extra controller, and 2 play and charge kits(all brand new in the box) for $160 USD. I still like my PS3 better, but for a couple exclusives it was worth it. Plus its black :D
no not really, other then my 2 rrod's. Look Im basing this on the 3 games ive played on both systems, Madden, GTA and sf 4. The games are the same on 360 as the ps3. What makes the difference is the exclusives. I really would like to play mgs4 and mlb the show but the ps 3 price tage isnt worht the exclusives.
Besides that Ive had bad history with them. ps1 i had to turn up side down to work, ps 2 i kept getting disc read errors on 4 consoles so i was ready for a change. At least ms fixes the rrod

Haven't really had any problems. Just the one time I had to buy fable 2's premium DLC twice because of a glitch involving confusion with the free DLC that I had started downloading but canceled before getting the premium one. There may have been other times my payment was 'skipped' like that on marketplace, I can't remember though. And a new copy of oblivion I bought at circuit city once was faulty, but that had nothing to do with the console itself. I since got a new oblivion and all. So um....yeah, maybe it is possible to own a 360 and not experience RROD or anything.

Wii overheats something mad and has a junky IR cable. I wouldn't say it's excactly "Built Ford tough".
No I loving it....it's way better than the PS3 and when one broke on me I just play on my second one while waiting for the other to come back from repair center:) It broke on me 5 times lol...no problem.
Anyway,my friends had problem with their PS3 and they all prefer the 360 for all the exclusive and online play...
Nope - I never had any issues with the 360. I had a choice of PS3 or 360 and im glad i chose the 360. I'll eventually get a PS3 as the price keeps dropping so its only a matter of time. The 360 hardware is kinda old I have to say but the fact its manage to stay strong all this time im pretty impressed with it.
A handful of games has made it worth it but mostly it has broken and glitchy games, an overly sesitive laser reader, and the software library SUCKS and you have to wait months foe good games to come along. I dont think the ps3 would be any better on some of those issues either. I am sick of consoles and just wish I had a sweet pc to play mmorpgs. Screw all these lame game developers with thier unoriginal crap games filled with bugs or just plain noy fun. I currently have Star Ocean the last hope rented and I switched and started playing my DS. Drone Tactics > SO:TLH

A jasper would solve the problem and I do sometimes feel that I should have purchased a PS3 instead. However, keeping the xbox 360 has been a better choice overall imo.
Funny thing about this is...nobody realizes that PS3s fail just about as often as 360s. But for some reason, it just isn't as publicized. I am not sure what is up with the hardware this generation but I don't think the problem will get any better in the coming generation of consoles (more transistors, higher frequencies, more heat).
I think failure is just something that you have to live with and hope that the customer service is good enough to solve the problem with as small of a headache as possible.

guys xbox is good didnt have problems with it i just cut out acircle on the upper cover and i put afan amoung the gpu cooling so that it will make an air flow cold air in the other fans get the hot air from the back and u dont have to play for several hours people make it rest then it will work 4 along time .

Gotta agree with chaoscougar on this one, these topic seem to alway make people go crazy over their consoles!
It should have a internet browser, a cup holder, nail polisher, and yes I'd prefer my 360 to have a direct link to Death star.
