I have wanted this game badly since it's announcment... please alan wake, please don't turn into vaporware!

LOL, I agree. Alan Wake is on my TOP-TOP-TOP 3 most wanted games list. It just looks like Silent Hill when Silent Hill games USED to be fun. Anyways, I hope they don't drop the ball with this game cuz it's got the potential to amaze like what Resident Evil games have done!
Why would they choose to miss E3 and show up at TGS instead? Doesn't make sense unless it is just going to appear far from finished and a disappointment.
It's been too long for Alan Wake to be much more than a let down. It showed a lot of promise in the early days but seems to have been little more than a glorified tech demo with a name.
