Just a quick FYI, saw this tweet from the Gears 4 dev, 4K patch is already available for this game and can be downloaded by enabling the correct setting:
"Want to download our Xbox One X Enhancements TODAY ready for transfer on Nov 7th?
Toggle Download 4K Game Content in Xbox Backup Settings."
I assume this will start being available for other games as well as we approach launch date, so if you have a huge external drive, you may want to enable this feature right now.
