Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore was among those who were sitting in the meeting regarding changes in the Wellness Policy. After the meeting he was informed by WWE executives he was released from the company and led out of the building. It was said that Eugene was to take an active role in Ohio Valley Wrestling to work with some 'greener' talent. The release was said to be a complete surprise.
The second wrestler escorted was Chris Cage, who was a former WWE developmental talent who was released a while ago due to a wellness issue. He returned to OVW in hopes of getting a job back as well booked to work as an extra on the taping. Many sources have reported that he was also asked to leave the taping. It is believed he was asked to leave because they didn't want someone who has been released due to Wellness issues to be around the premises.
