calm down.Wow, are you serious? Prisoners often get pampered these days with American tax dollars. Also, Vick's probably only sorry because he got caught.and if jeff goes to jail, he'll be a changed man, ask mike vick.MadGamer132
On another note, seeing all of that chicken has made me hungry. Would Punk be mad at me if I ate all of that chicken? Or at least some, I'm not "that" hungry...

Oh, Link. You really shouldn't have.
Ok, now listen. Punk sucks for two reasons -- 1) He can't keep an entertaining title reign going to save his life, and 2) he is as stale in the ring as you can get. IDK the reason why he's won two MITB's in a row, maybe it's because WWE keeps trying to push him over as a serious champion but fail at the same time. His first title reign was just a sick and vomiting joke to the prestige of the WHC. The second I can't even remember, because he was on Smackdown, but the PPV matches he had during that time were just as boring, if not, worse. Why Punk's character is even someone who doesn't want you to take ANY kind of drug, whether it be prescription or non, just makes Punk's character a joke. Why they decided to switch him to a role model type of guy after they made him HEEL is just a wonder to me. Point being that Punk is just a joke, both as a face and as a heel.
Rant over.Â

This needs to be addressed.
1. Apply Chapstick. The amount of ass you kissed in this thread earlier cracks me up.
2. His first title reign was just a sick and vomiting joke to the prestige of the WHC. KhaliKhaliKhaliKhaliKhali.
3. Punk is one of the selected few WWE employees to actually have a passion for what he does, and in doing so, SIR, he is damn good at it.Â
4. CM Punk respects your opinion of him, but has granted me permission to tell you it's wrong.
5. CM Punk says get out of here.Â
6. Why they decided to switch him to a role model type of guy after they made him HEEL is just a wonder to me. That's because they already have the FACE. His name is John Cena.
7. Why Punk's character is even someone who doesn't want you to take ANY kind of drug, whether it be prescription or non, just makes Punk's character a joke. That's not his character, bud. That's all him. The "Heel persona of the deity Punk" is but an extension of his actual lifestyle.Â
8. CM Punk says get out of here again.
9. CM Punk is better than you.
10. CM Punk needs to save you.
11. He can't keep an entertaining title reign going to save his life. That's not Punk's fault. It's Mark Calaway's. Period. Don't ever bring this up again.
Take that, Jeff Hardy.
While the main focus of this thread is intended to be positive, and that one negative, you do not need to switch debate a back-and-forth in order do so. That is just silly. If that debate, for example, started in the other thread, you can keep it there. If I have given you guys the impression I am THAT strict, I apologize.
Now, on the other hand, if things went too OT, and you guys went into a big tangent, for example, about John Cena (say, going from CM Punk Hate > The Undertaker > Edge > John Cena), than yes, I would rather that discussion be stopped, or moved to the appropriate place, such as Random Wrestling Posts, or a topic of its own.
If anybody wants to respond to this, please, keep it in OT, or my PM box.
This needs to be addressed. I love how you couldn't tell I was faking. I've been a Punk hater since day 1 and always will be. I shall leave this thread, but I'll be back!1. Apply Chapstick. The amount of ass you kissed in this thread earlier cracks me up.

Heels don't cut promos like this...

That. Was. Incredible.Cm Punk isn't a heel.

The only thing that put a damper on it was that one guy saying, "You are a monster, Punk."

Yeah, that's what he implied. You can say he's a great leader. I could say Barack Obama is a great President of the United States.
My brief history of CM Punk in ROH:
Debuts as a rather generic face. Kinda sucked. Pretty sloppy. Its brief with very few highlights.
Punk turns heel to oppose the arriving Raven. Its something of a precursor to the Jeff Hardy feud. This allows him to shine on the mic, although still not much in the ring. Wrestles largely in brawls. The Wrestlerave promo, in particular, is something to track down. Also, maybe, the Dog Collar Match at Death Before Dishonor represents probably the best Punk-Raven. Definately memorable with an awesome cameo and I blieve has another good Punk promo.
Sidenote: Death Before Dishonor was Paul London's last ROH show. He challenged Samoa Joe for the ROH title in a decent, if a little disappointing match. Joe was just getting cranked up in ROH.
Punk-Raven lays the seeds for Punk to create the Second City Saints with Colt Cabana and their trainer Ace Steel. Punk's ring work is improving and his mic work makes him one of the top guys in the company. He gets entangled in multiple feuds, not listes in anything resembling an oder:
Laying the seeds of his challenge of Samoa Joe for the ROH Title.
Challenging Christopher Daniels and his group, the Prophecy. Daniels role in the feud is brief but its significance is pretty high later in the Punk story. The Second City Saints had innumerable brawls with Daniels's desciples.
The Tag Team Titles. ROH's Chicago debut show is headlined by Punk and Cabana winning the ROH Tag Titles from the Briscoes in a memorable match.
Punk briefly feuds with AJ Styles over the Pure Title.
One specific show for Punk fans in this time period is the 2nd Year Aniversary. This is a great showcase show for Punk as he competes in the Pure Title tournament, while juggling the other feuds.
More significantly, his feud with Ricky Steamboat begins as Punk takes issue with Steamboat's refereeing of a Punk-Styles Pure Title match. They have several physical confrontations, although never an actual match.
CM Punk finally challenges the, by now, dominant Samoa Joe and they go to an Hour draw at World Title Classic and again in the fabled rematch in Chicago called Joe vs Punk II, which was the first North American match to recieve a 5 Star rating from oft-cited wrestling reporter Dave Meltzer since the HIAC match between Taker and HBK.
These matches involve Punk in a 3-Way feud with Homicide and Joe. The seeds are laid for Punk to turn face.
Punk officially turns face when he saves Ricky Steamboat from a beatdown at the hands of the young upstart group, Generation Next (Alex Shelley, Austin Aires, Roderick Strong and Jack Evans).
Now a face, Punk and the Saints feud with GenNext and Punk lays down one final challenge against Samoa Joe at All Star Extravaganza II in a match with no time limit. He loses.
Punk starts a feud with a new (kinda) upstart named Jimmy Rave, the Crown Jewel of a group called the Embassy, a managed by the Prince of Ghana, West Africa, Prince Nana. Rave picks up a number of tainted wins against Punk. This culminates in a cage match at Nowhere to Run where Punk gets his revenge on Jimmy Rave.
Around this time, WWE and TNA are heavily pursuing CM Punk and Samoa Joe. Punk signs with the E and his last show is set at Death Befre Dishonor III, he will challenge ROH Champion Austin Aires.
I've said it before, if there is one ROH show that any fan of CM Punk needs to own, it is Death Befoe Dishonor III.
It is be the creative peak of ROH and sparks the best periods of ROH's history, beginning with what is affectionately referred to as the Summer of Punk and the momentum continues, IMO, until the end of the Milestone Series in 2006.
Well, I tried to be brief.
That's just offensive, man. Here's somethin' y'all might get a chuckle out of.....
CM Punk's quiet time

That's like South Park showing Jesus watching porn and such.

YEAH!
Yeah
All I've ever wanted was destiny to be fulfilled
It is in my hands, I must not fail, I must not fail
Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always
This is the proving ground
Misery begins to rise
Turn away from yesterday
Tomorrow's in my eyes (Oh!)
Nevermore to be held down
By the waves against me
Nevermore to be cast aside
This day is mine
Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always
I will not be denied in this final hour
I will not be denied, this day is mine
This passion inside me is burning (Is burning)
This passion inside me is burning (Is burning)
Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always (always)
This fire burns (fire burns) always
Always (always)
Goodbye to me and you.
Goodbye to the life we knew.
One last long embrace.
Let go and walk on through.
I'm leaving everything behind for a peace that I can't find.
The ghosts that roam this house
like winter air right through our souls.
And it feels like dying.
It just feels like time to go.

Love the song, but that sig just really creeps the **** out of me. Considering it looks like Punk got high and now wants to bite my head off.Â
CM Punk forgives you if you don't believe he's Jesus.Redders1989Yes. Punk is a genius. Instead of violent acting out for you not believing in him, he calmly forgives you, and explains to you how he is, in fact, Jesus.
Does anyone have a problem with me bumping this?
No?
Okay.
Razor-Lazor
You know, I think we all should write to CM Punk and apologize for this thread even needing "bumping" in the first place.
CM Punk is a diety among men to be worshiped and idolized. He is trying to make humanity a more pure and perfect race. All he dreams of is a world where nobody's mind is clouded by artificial substances.
i would rather listen to Alberto Del Rio talk then hear Punk's rant. Del Rio should have his own thread.jediknight52501Shush.

I mean, who else has been so awesome so quickly? My only concern with giving Delo Rio a thread (even though he deserves it), is this that it could lead to the same problem that happened before: everyone and their mom gets a thread.
