In the future, 2005 can be looked at as a "transitional year" for the WWE. Many veterans won't be able to wrestle in a couple of years(Taker, HBK, Trips, Flair, etc), and the WWE is developing a whole crapload of rookies this year, a few of which have been very impressive. I know that it isn't the end of the year yet, so this might be a little premature. If CM Punk comes up and wins the WWE title by the end of the year, you have full permission to file a lawsuit against me.

That said, who would you consider the best newcomer in the WWE this year? There have been many, and I might forget some.

  • Ken Kennedy
  • Chris Masters
  • MNM (Melina Nitro Mercury)
  • Bobby Lashley
  • Boogeyman
  • Mexicools
  • Vito
  • Johnny Parisi
  • Mickie James
  • Ashley Massaro
  • Jillian Hall
  • Kid Kash
  • Paul Burchill
  • Heart Throbs
  • Matt Striker
  • Trevor Murdoch
I'd say Kennedy. His gimmick is pretty simple, nothing outrageous, and he plays it almost perfectly. To add to that, he's alright in the ring.

For "runner-up", I'd say MNM -- finally, a good tag team to help revive the tag division.

For me I would say that it is Chris Masters.  He has already established himself as a top heel on RAW and he does have some good matches in the ring.  Plus he is already involved in the main event at this year's Survivor Series.

My runner-up is a split between Kennedy (great on the mic) and MNM (good in ring skills, Melina is smoking hot:D)

The Good:

  • Ken Kennedy... Kennedy
  • Chris Masters
  • MNM (Melina Nitro Mercury)
  • Bobby Lashley
  • Mexicools
  • Mickie James
  • Kid Kash
  • Paul Burchill

The Bad:

  • Ashley Massaro
  • Jillian Hall
  • Heart Throbs
  • Trevor Murdoch
  • Matt Striker
  • Vito
  • Johnny Parisi

The Ludicrous:

  • Boogeyman

Best Overall:  Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy.  Really good on the mic, solid in the ring.  He's become a highlight of Smackdown.  He'll never be a heel in the state of Wisconsin.

Please, don't just quote someone. If you do quote someone, add something to your post. Just quoting someone doesn't add to the discussion at all. I saw you also did that for the "best diva ever" poll.

I don't like the guy but Ken kennedy, and Chris Masters as a runner up and Lashley wouldn't be far behind.

1. Ken Kennedy/Bobby Lashley (Lashley would be first if he ever used the mic)
2. Chris "The Masterpiece Masters
3. MNM (Won WWE Tag-Team Titles in debut match)

I doubt that. People don't watch wrestling for only the hot women. They watch porn for hot women.

Yeah, that sums up my feeling, other than the Boogeyman part... I do not think he is ludicrous, I would actually put hin under "The Good" on my list.

By the way, I guess Lance Cade would not be consider new comer, seeing how he was previously in the WWE, under the name of Garrison Cade.

For me I feel Ken Kennedy made an impressive newcomer. He has the right quality to be a top heel main eventer. He impress me so much. Then the runner-ups include Bobby Lashley, who is one impressive specimen, and then it goes to MNM, who is one of the best tag teams in ages. I sure hope the WWE keeps these team together for another 2 Years before seperating them. We have seen what WWE has done to teams as of late. Put them together for like 3 months, and the next thing you know, they split them up.

Most of them have their individual qualities and weak points so this is a very tough decision for me to make.

I have to say Ken Kennedy, IMHO, is the best newcomer of 2005 simply because he has the charisma, attitude, and ability in the ring and out of the ring to become a huge superstar in the near future.

Mine is a tie between Ken Kennedy and Chris Masters.  I am really impressed by both of these guys and they should be getting title shots soon.
