i was just wondering if anyone here bought it and played it.

i did. i rememeber when i first got it, i unlocked all the hiden characters that you could regularly. i wanted to unlock piecemeal so badly when i was a little kid, but i wasnt good enough at the game to get past all the levels on normal with every characyer. i was also too lazy :P

recently though, i went back to it, and i finally uinlocked him. i played EVERY character over again since i wasnt sure which ones i had and had not done. lol. so many levels.

in the end though, i got him. it was a LOT easier since i was way better now then i was back then. i have more patience too :P

so im just wondering if anyone else bought it.

This, as well as the original are the only games in the series which I don't own. They are just a couple of titles that have eluded me for many years, and really owe myself to play.

lol. TM1 was hard to track down at first. its the only one i found when i was looking for TM4. TM:SB i got as a gift. so much frustration when i was a kid due to lack of patience with it. but now i enjoy it more.

I still got my copy of most the PlayStation 1 games. Most of them still work today including Twisted Metal: Small Brawl.

It was surprising that instead making a sequel to Twisted Metal: Black they made this. It was a good game that feels like the first two games. It was aimed for an younger audience like the last two PlayStation games made by another team.

what surprised me was the fact that they decided to move back and make it for the PS1.

Yeah, especially considering the two games were by the exact same developer, and were released within months of each other. You would have thought that would have really taken away from the two games, but certainly proved otherwise.

yup. youd think that they would look pretty similar, or at least on the same console.

Yeah, I play it, I own all 7 of them infact. ;)

I guess they made it for PS1 beacuse back in the early 2000's more people still had a PS1 rather than the fairly new PS2's.

I managed to add the original Twisted Metal to my collection last year (it's in a Greatest Hits box, but ohwell), so Small Brawl is the only game I don't own a physical copy of. It's kinda funny I've had such difficulty finding it, since you'd think it'd be the game people would be less inclined to hold onto, but next time I come across a copy I'm going to pounce on it like a panther. I want my Twisted Metal collection to be complete.

I do own a copy of TM:SB though I imagine that not many gamers do......especially since it came out at around the same time Black was released.  In fact, I bought it brand new......before I even obtained TMB.  I am happy to say that I have every TM game released. :D

Very nice! I wish I had done that back in the day, since it would have made the task of finding it today much easier. Actually, it would have made the task nonexistant. :P
