I dont get why MGM doesnt just fold into Sony Pictures. They could probably even keep the name since its so recognizable and then finally make the next Bond, release Red Dawn, and make re-energize SG lol.

MGM is clearly willing to sell any and everything they have just to avoid disappearing entirely, it seems :(
I wouldn't count that out yet they maybe selling off props but you have to take into account certain things like surplus props or outdated props. Why they haven't done that is beyond me. If I had the money I would out buy MGM.
If i had the money, i wouldnt lol. Id be happy that im a super millionaire or a billionaire even and just travel and have fun. I wouldnt mind buying the SG rights but depends on price of course.
My wife doesn't even like that I bought the Limted Edition's of Halo 3 with the helmet and Halo: Reach with the sculpture since we don't have much room for stuff like that. I can't imagine what she'd say if I brought home a freaking Stargate. Hmmm...maybe I could half bury it in the yard and have the sidewalk run through it....

How awesome would it be to make a stargate out of like titanium or something and then bury it in a secret location and in a thousand years someone unburies it. Or course by the year 3000 aliens, robots, and humans will all be living together anyways so maybe it will be moot lol.
