It was a little better than Ok to me. It had it's moments but just wasnt very interesting overall. Though i did find myself laughing more than a couple of times.
I thought especially since sg1 was on atlantis[in the sg1 ep],that the severity of the sg1 episode was dimissed,i mean,sg1 just blew up a wraith ship and an ori ship and no-one even mentions it?
Yeah even if atlantis takes place before SG1 you'd think that mckay would atleast be excited that Sam was on her way and they should know atleast 2 weeks in advance that they are coming.
I do really wish the timeline was in sinc with the two shows. Anyway I kinda figured thay Sheperd would be ammuned to the potion but I wouldn't mind having that potion.
Wow...after that SG-1 episode, I really don't have much to say about this one. I knew as soon as SG-1 was over that Atlantis was going to be a let-down, no matter how good it was. Fortunately it was a bit better than I expected, and the plot itself was interesting, but it was another garden-variety episode, much like SG-1 from last week. That's about all the analysis I can provide. Ho-hum, not bad, not enough to keep me awake though.
The absolute best part was the end, when we found out Rodney tried using the pheromone and it affected Sheppard. Another LOL moment.Â
I loved how he made everyone like him, and his wifes back on his planet = Beautiful. :oops:shockwave04

And then he was hitting on Weir as soon as he got to Atlantis. There was enough subtlety in this episode that I may have to revise my initial thoughts to "It was pretty good" instead of "Eh, it wasn't bad".
It was good to see Richard Kind back in Stargate, too. It's his first appearance back with the franchise since the movie. IMDB.com has a note that he's due to appear as Lucius again next season it appears.
If the shows were all action all the time that would be bad. But after that action packed episode of SG-1 it did feel like a let down. I think it was a mistake for them to get my adrenalin(SP?) flowing and than let it hit a brick wall (A.K.A Atlantis)
I didnt think it was horrible but im also used to reading tons of books (well mostly Tom Clancy) so it wasnt so bad that it didnt have action but was more to do with the mind.
This episode was kind of dumb, but I thought the beginning was hilarious. Usually I find episodes like this dumb, but it was kind of like the Urgo episode from SG-1. Lucius (sp?) was so obnoxious that I couldn't help laughing for the first couple of scenes he was in. Especially when Sheppard came back and saw Weir and Mckay all googly eyed about Lucius, I thought that was pretty funny.

Completly agree, this was a very poor episode for Atlantis, they have really good built up story lines and then ruin the series with these waste of time episodes!!
