[QUOTE="GamerGirlPwnz"][QUOTE="zeldafreak4life"]But what do we do about the "Hyrulean"? :? Hyruleans are the races of Hyrule itself. So, they are Gerudos, Zoras, Hylians, etc. What about the Ooccos? I think thats how you spell it by the way :lol:Aravix
Yes, Calpag stated it perfectly.
Ty guys, that really helped! :) I understand now, but y hasnt the word Hylian been used since the N64 series? It was only used in OoT and part of MMGood question. I don't know the answer, but according to this page I found, it was after the Imprisoning War where the first paragraph states, "The Kingdom survived, but after these tragic events, the blood of the Hylia people grew so thin they could no longer be called Hylians and their descendant citizens of the kingdom became simply Hyrulians, the wisdom of the ancient ones, only surviving in their few scrolls they left behind." This is confusing me now... Hylians are the race of people that the Goddesses chose as their own. So, therefore they can communicate through telepathy with Hylians. But... when the Imprisoning War happened, the Hylians began to get so weak, they no longer had the power that the Goddesses gave them to communicate, so, they lost their name as the special humanoid race known as the Hylians, and simply became considered as normal humanoids with no power... like the Gorons, Zoras and other races that really don't have any "magical" powers, they just became "Hyrulians". I guess to answer your question, they weren't officially "Hylians" until OoT. I'm most likely wrong, but you bring up an interesting question. I hope somebody knows the correct answer.
