Not exactly big enough for a front page story (hence I'm posting this as a forum topic) and somewhat old, but news none the less. The site Infendo has made a list of their top ten GBA choices and a Zelda game obiviously graces the list. The games are listed in no particular order and are stated to be rather cheap in price due to the GBA's age.

Here is the list:

- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
- Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
- Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby Version
- Mario Kart Super Circuit
- Metroid Fusion
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- Golden Sun
- Final Fantasy VI Advance
- Fire Emblem
- Anything from the [c.l.a.s.s.i.c] NES Series

The Minish Cap is the Zelda representative on the list. Should A Link to the Past have made it as well?

Even though A Link to the Past is my favourite game in existence. I don't think so, it was just a re-release, let the new games have their moment in the sun. For that matter, although Final Fantasy VI was a bloody amazing game, the same logic should apply to it and the classic games.

Yes though, if we were just making a list of the best GBA games, with no regards to re-releases then A Link to the Past should definitely have made it on that list.

Personal List (including re-releases) in a relative order of preferance:

Final Fantasy VI
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Advance Wars
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Golden Sun
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Metroid Fusion

Cool. I really liked Minish Cap, despite what other people said about it. I thought it was a great game.

No Fire Emblem metroid_dragon?:P

And yes, I agree that The Minish Cap was still a superb game and was certainly one of the best games available for the GBA.

Sadly I never got around to playing it myself, although I have seen friends doing quite a bit of the game and it looks very good. (and hard mode is freakin' insane)

In my opinioin, even though Alttp was rereleased on the GBA, it still is on it, therefore counts. I think it was a more memorable game than Minish Cap was, but that's just me.
