Heart Container vs Stamina Increase

Just about to be able to trade in my first 4 Spirit Orbs for either a Heart Container or an Increase in my Stamina Gauge. I had been thinking a Heart Container would be an automatic get, but Stamina is so important that I am thinking about that instead. Thoughts???

Definitely get the Stamina upgrade. If you have enough food, the hearts you have should not be a problem at all. Not to mention that the heart's increase is minimal. Stamina is much more useful specially in the early game. Having low stamina really kills the pacing in my opinion...

anyone know why i only revive with 3 hearts and not 4?

Are you reviving with 4 total hearts, and 3 of them are full? Or did you have 4 hearts when you died and now you only have 3 when you revive? I think in most Zelda games when you revive you don't get all your hearts full of life. I only have 3 heart containers so I can't fully answer that question yet.
