Depends on if they still sell the console/handheld or not. If they're still being sold, I'd save up for another one if the one that died cannot be revived. On the other hand, if they don't sell them anymore, I would be very sad for a while, but in the end decide it was probably for the best. However, this is very unlikely because any possession I buy with my own money I take extreme care of, to the point where I can't see any finger prints or dust on them. Overuse isn't exactly a problem, 'cause I'm usually too busy working on something to play, but every second of free time is spent playing unless I can't keep my eyes open. Ahh, obsession at its finest. ;)

Well, I used to try and fix it, but those were the old ones that were easier to fix the things that typically went wrong with them for me. When my PS2 dies, as I'm sure it eventually will, I'll just chuck it. I already have a back up :) There was a time where I may have kept it, but I've reached a point in my life where I don't have the space to be emotionally attached to what is essentially garbage. Maybe try and sell it for parts first.

Either sell it cheap as scrap or put it in the bin... And put the money towards a new one or something I want more.. Like a Fender Strat :D

I've never had a console die. I've had a PS1 for like 10 years, and PS2 for like 8, and a PS3 for around 1 year. The only console I have trouble with is my NES, but that still generally works fine. I've had a computer crash though. It was actually fun, my dad got a new and let me smash up the busted one. Great anger management.

Um, no... :? Pack rat is a term used to describe people who just don't throw things out. It's almost like they can't. For instance, if every time a kid got a McDonald's toy they couldn't give it up even if years had gone by and the toy was broken beyond all repair. I wonder if there's a dictionary definition for that... Oh hey! What'd ya know? There is. Pack rat - noun

What?! How would you even play that? What is it doing, running away from take-away-your-food monsters?

Would we not need a massive expanding bag to hold all of the food? :|

yes and when you get enough food you can use it as a weapon, but the food can break when you hit it against mosters so it's a risky manouvre. You start with a bag and as soon as you have one piece of food in it you die when you lose some
