New Thief Details

The more I ehar about this game the more I cringe a little and worry. I think I will be one of the people that won't like it. I may not be the biggest Thief fan out there but I respected the old games for knowing their audience and making a game for them instead of trying to make a game everybody will love. 

I'm mainly interested in the game because it reminds me of Dishonored.

The game looks really good though, but this is coming from someone who hasn't played the older Thief games. I'm not so sure about the linear parts in it.

You can get the first 3 Thief games from GOG for $10 each if you were interested. They will run on ancient hardware if you're worried.

My 98 could run Fallout.:lol:

While my computer could probably run Thief, I've had some terrible luck with computers: And am absolutely paranoid with anything I put into my PC. My whole idea now is, if it's running fine, leave it how it is.:P

I'm happy the new one is coming to consoles.:D

I know what you mean, and Crysis is a good example.bugbag

I agree Crysis is a great example. Another would be F.E.A.R., once it went multiplatform it started a real downward spiral for the franchise. F.E.3.R. was a terrible game that I couldn't even get through.

I highly doubt that. If that is true it was one heck of a polished beta.
