Played the RE6 demo with a friend yesterday. Not too impressed. The Leon campaign was decent but the other ones were pretty boring.

Old Resident Evil and new Resident Evil are really two completely different things. Old Resident Evil focused on saving ammunition, surviving on your own, and trying to avoid zombies. Since RE4 it's been about seeing how many enemies you can destroy, easy gameplay and with RE5, came the worst idea from Capcom: Cooperative gameplay.

Watch the intro and you will instantly be able to see the difference, it doesn't even look the same.

@Chocolate: Can I just change it to a General Resident Evil Discussion thread? That way we can discuss the entire series in one topic.

I didn't even see many zombies when I played RE 6... There were regular people who sometimes grew extra body parts... I was very confused. :|

Resident Evil Remake average a 91 on metacritic, that's their answer to the series. They need to go back to horror!
