E3 2009 has kicked off, with Nintendo announcing a variety of new software titles as well as a new peripheral. A highlight of what's been announced thus far:

• New Super Mario Bros. Wii
• Super Mario Galaxy 2
• Metroid: Other M
• Wii Vitality Sensor (detects pulse)
• Golden Sun DS
• Wii Fit Plus
• Acknowledgment of a new Wii Zelda (tentatively due out next year)
• A downloadable Mario vs. Donkey Kong game for the DSi
• No More Heroes 2
• Red Steel 2
• New Raving Rabbids title
• Updates on WiiMotion Plus and WiiSports Resort

After watching the trailer again. I think now she did speak. I think this is the first time she spoke in a game, besides brawl.

I think it was Team Ninja's doing.

I know hardly anything about Team Ninja as a developer so it will be intresting to see how Nintendo and them handle this new Metroid game.

Yes Samus did speak before. In Metroid Fusion on the GBA and in Brawl.
