Well, I'll be the officer in charge of doing a weekly poll for this union. This poll will be about anything, sports, business, weather, politics, etc.......... Anything I can think of that'll keep this place interesting.

So I decided this poll would be, uhhh school related, like lets say you had a father and he was a Mechanic. He taught you everything he knew and he was one of the best mechanics around town. So most people(where I live) would think hey what do they need college for. Because mechanics could easliy make, ohh around 1000 dollars a week(could be more). So heres my question:

Would you rather take your father's business and settle for what you have?

Or, go to college and try to build on your father's business and try to make it even better?

For some reason I couldn't make a poll, oh well, tell me what you think.

I think you should go to college. With the knowledge you learn in school you could expand the business and make a lot more than $1000 dollars a month. Trust me, the money looks good right know but just think what you could do with the knowledge you learn in college.

I'd do the same, some of my friends think other wise. I mean yeah, you got a business once your father hands it to you. But, with a new president thats gonna be elected this year you got to think twice.

I'll think of something a little more interesting next week.

College

Make some more friends, build upon the business, learn some new stuff.

What have you got to lose?

I would choose to go to college as well. There's nothing to loose by going to college, and besides, you learn new things, and you will seem more professional since you have a degree.

I also don't want to join the military. Some friends of mine are already enlisted in the ARMY and stuff like that, but I haven't even thought about it.

I'd go to college which the father would be able to pay for so I wouldn't be out of anything and would be building on what he had made, and hopefully make him proud that I wanted to follow in his footsteps but better myself in the process as well

I didn't know you had to pay to go to public school. I thought that the public schools got their money through taxes and stuff. One of my friends goes to private school and he has to pay tuition.
