yeah, but i usually wait a little bit before i buy games, only games i have preordered are: PES series, Forza and SW:TOR



I've only pre-ordered about 5 or 6 games in the past, but I never pre-ordered anything, until 2008.

Sounds like what stage Zynga's games are at, ugh, so many problems with their games, its not even funny.Toph_Girl250

Of course, at least those games are finished even if broken, Cheetahmen II is broken and not even close to finished.

Latest? Well, Tomb Raider. I'm a huge TR fan, and when I got my hands on the latest one I told myself "freedom, you will not go all fangirl on this. You will judge it in a proper, unbiased way". So, I did. I played through. Did everything that could be done, and gave it a fair, unbiased score of [spoiler] 12/10 [/spoiler]

Losing a SW bet can be a pain if you made yourself do an odd punishment like have a theme you don't like, post in a specific way, etc. and they have to be things you don't like, don't want to do and/or bad things as well since the loser ALWAYS have to be punished.

Definitely. The Bet thread is stickied and it's part of System Wars. You can make a prediction as to what The Last of Us will score.

Safe bets would be easier, it's though far out ones that are tricky, like a main GTA game getting below a 9.

Wow, only other game that I know of getting a perfect score like that is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I know that PS2 version of Tony Hawk 3, Soul Calibur, Chrono Cross, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 had it.

Yeah, I do enjoy playing Mario Party 8 on my Wii. Haven't gotten around to setting up my Wii and playing the game on it again for a long time though.

Standards have increased so it'll be tough for it to get a 10, it'll have to blow GTA IV away.

The most important aspect of any game to exist on this planet. Good framerate lets you play the game better. Bad framerate ruins enjoyment if it gets lower and Perfect Dark had framerate problems. They go by numbers too, 30 or above is good, below 30 is always bad.

The XBLA aka Xbox Live Arcade version on 360 fixed those problems and runs at a higher framerate making it way better than the N64 version.

Interesting, framerate is something I never realized whilst playing video games, I should do more research on that, to see what games I own that have good or bad framerates.

Yeah, but GTA IV came out several years later than GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas and those all got 9.6, which was before the .5 increments, rounding them to 9.5. So that's why I'm guessing it'll get a 9.5 or 10.

Too easy, it's how the game looks in motion. If it moves fast, it's good, if it moves slow, it's bad.

With how Gamespot reviews games now it's going to be tougher, also GTA IV got a 10 because of the new rating scale. We all think it'll get 9.0-9.5 the most, 10 will be tough and going lower than a 9.0 will be even tougher. In fact GTA V is the only game this year that's close to 10 worthy.

I never bothered to sign up at any rent stores myself. Thankfully the only game I want to rent is in the RedBox (rentals for $1 in machines at stores).
