For me, it's the Game Boy Player for the GameCube. Like the Super Game Boy addons for SNES before it, it adds on to the library for the console and you see them on the big screen. Shame you couldn't get the "enhancements" of the select GB cartridges, but you can hardly complain when 90% of the GB library was playable on it.

Fight-sticks. It's quite satisfying customizing them. Like, building a tree house, or something.

I don't use any for anything.

I've had a magnifying glass/light thing for my GameBoy Color years ago that I liked. Looked big and stupid, but I could play in the dark. Had some kind of a wiimote silicone grip that made the controller.. different to hold. Not necessarily more comfortable. Tried the Pro grip thingy for the 3DS, whatever it was called. It was OK.

Accessories are largely unnecessary for me. I remember wanting that GBA thingy for GameCube. Had I got it, I've no doubt that would be my favorite accessory as well. Thought it was too expensive at the time.

Definitely the camera and printer accessories for the OG Gameboy, endless hours of fun with those in the days before smartphones.

I dont really have many accessories per se. unless something like the steam controller is considered an accessory....which i suppose.....maybe? love the steam controller though.

what i am a big fan on at the moment though (and im about to jinx it probably :P) is network plugs. probably not the most exciting or gaming thing on paper but when networking starts acting up it becomes REALLY annoying.

I got a new wireless dongle to take advantage of the speed of my wireless router. my old dongle would top out at 40Mb/s which is just half my internet speed (it was bullet proof though). the new one should have been much better but it just did not like working with my router for some reason. i tried different drivers and settings and googled for ages to no avail.

then it dawned on me: network plugs. I just plugged em in, connected them to my router and PC and its been hassle free networking ever since and i can max out my internet connection speed now. a bloody good idea that.

Xbox One Kinect. The convenience and voice features come in handy. Dance Central Spotlight is still a great party game. And it’s a no brainer for streaming or quick gameplay recording.

I'm going to go with my Logitech z5500s.

Still an amazing surround sound setup after 12+ years of heavy use.

Mine would be the Super Game Boy 2 adapter for the SNES. One of my favorite features was using the 2nd player controller to color around the borders, and at times mess around the game screen by coloring it (when my younger brother was playing). Another neat feature was that some games had dedicated themes such as Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pokemon, Mario and such.

@sakaixx: I was gonna pick something else, but I paid like $20 for what you're talking about, just some random one from Japan I got on Amazon, and you're right, it does an incredible job giving you triggers and something to hold onto.

Also, a little piece broke on mine, so the 4 notches that keep it in tight, the one on top left is gone, so kind of moves, which is fine, I'm just weird, but it does make it easier to put in and out without fearing breaking the other 3.

A perfectly rolled blunt is my favorite accessory.

2nd would be my Madcatz steering wheel back on PS1. Was good times on Need for speed. Haven't bothered with any accessories since then.

I almost want to say Gamecube controller adapter as well... for some weird reason.

Even though I've never used it... they just announced it for Switch and I like the gamecube controller... so I guess maybe I'l try that and throw that in...
