Yep this thread is about black ops 2.

Everywhere I hear people saying they only want the game for its overrated Zombies.This just makes me not want to get the game at all I mean a game must be really crap when you hear people saying they only want the game for one mode.It just proves to me that the game is terrible and everything is not improved upon besides zombies.

Some people on these forums are actually saying that the multiplayer is improved.I see no improvements besides new futuristic wepons,more overpowered killstreaks,new modes,new campaign.Thats just the same improvements mw2 had on mw1 even though mw2 itself ended up being Casual rubbish.

Zombies is the only thing thats looks good in BO2, but theres better alternatives such as Dayz, Left 4 dead, Killing floor ect.

Obviously Bioshock, Half-Life, Crysis and Uncharted are all crap series then since people buy them for the single player mode. Planetside 2, Battlefield 3, Tribes: Ascend and Counter Strike must all be terrible as well since people only play those for the multiplayer mode.

I am excited about all of Black Ops 2, not just the zombie mode. I think it could end up being GOTY, only other game that I can see rivaling it is AC3 and Mass Effect 3. I know Black Ops 2 will win best shooter though, no doubt about that.

It's a great year to be a gamer.

People do the same thing for other titles. People buy Halo only for multiplayer. Same with Battlefield.

Well I buy a lot of games for only one mode: singleplayer.:cool:

In relation to the topic though, what Treyarch seems to have done with the new Zombies mode has me interested. The game seems like a phenomenal value with the singleplayer, multiplayer, different zombie modes, and does anyone know if the one mode that is like coop missions or whatever is still in this game?

Regardless I don't think it means the game is crap, it just means that there is a stellar mode that stands out for a lot of people. When they get tired of that they may pick up the other modes .

Lol the game wasn't THAT bad :P

It wasn't very good either, and the controls were weird. But I thought it had a cool concept and at style, but the last boss is stupid. It's just a wall, seriously it is. I don't have that game anymore.

Far Cry 2 and FF13 though almost put me into a coma, that's how boring they were.

I'm buying it for all three modes, with zombies coming a distant third on my interest list. I never really got in to zombies before, and I honestly liked that top down twin stick zombie shooter more than the actual main zombies mode in Black Ops. But Zombies sounds way more interesting in BO2 so maybe I'll be able to get in to zombies more this time.

I wouldn't necessarily say "crap", but the fanbase is stupid for buying the exact same game/experience multiple times.

Personally I find it odd that people are actually wanting to spend $60 for Zombies when they can already play Zombies in other CoD games.

The fanbase should just demand that Activision support their one game with cheap, or free, map/weapon updates. That's what plenty of FPS fanbases do. The CoD fanbase seems to be the only one that's 100% ok with spending $60 for the same game each year.
