X-Play gives DMC 4 a 3/5

I actually really like X-play and I do think there creadible, however I cant see why this game deserves a 3/5. a 4/5 maybe, but a 3/5? The game is great, worthy of 4/5 or higher IMO.

there one thing im wondering .

Or im really good at videogames or Reviewers really suck at them .

I mean , they found so many thing to complain about the game , puzzle , camera ,etc .... yet , the only thing that had ever bothered me was the camera at stage 9 during a fight agains sword angels .

i like x-play, ppl who don't like'em are to hardcore of fanboys. What points did they say for why its 3 out a 5? cause i kinda feel it s a3.5 out of 5....but there scoring only allows for whole numbers. Really the gameplay isn't anything new at all, its still linear and it still dmc orginal really, which isn't a bad thing but it isn't anything amazing either, so 3 out 5, mabe. It sgraphics are great tho, i'm liking the in-game cut scenes too :D

Xplay the guys who hate on a game for one problem yet doesn't say a thing when another game has that same problem. Thier reviews aren't consistent.

Here's something to think about, they gave crysis a 3/5 for bugs and what not, yet mass effect gets a 5? Lawl.

Only reason to watch that show is because they get some decent info in the gaming market and have some interviews/previews.

That's just the right score of DMC4 from X-Play.

They gave Turok a 3/5 for "no auto aim". Now that score sounds about right but that's the problem they chose to complain about?Juggernaut140

If you saw the video though it made sense. And they gave it a low score for no "aim assist" not auto aim.

Who actually listens to Xplay? Did you guys even listen to the Crysis review, rating aside (I will not go into that because opinions are opinions).. After he got done with the review of the game, Adam added that it will take around a $2000 upgrade to reach the recommends for Crysis.. This was one of those wtf moments, because my PC didn't even cost me half of that and it met the recommends..

nope its more comedy..i remember one time they said the voice acting was bad in one game.. then i played that game and found out they made it sound bad in the review on purpose just to make a joke..

I read some where that gametrailers PC doesn't even have a 8800 of any kind they have a 8600, a basic mid range card.

Yes clearly they go about with a fine tooth comb when I pointed out how rediculous their take on Crysis was.. Odviously they arn't really professional when they make such rediculous statemetns about a game..

I just gave you a direct counter example of why they arn't very good reviews.. I honestly could care less if they gave Crysis a low score or didn't nominate it for best graphics at the very least.. But it was the way they went about it with their lame ass excuse to show how bias they really are imo..

I agree. I don't agree with all their reviews, but the way they describe the game always matches perfectly with the rates they give it. It really annoys me when a website or magazine praises a game through 15 freaking paragraphs and then they give it a 7/10, or when they make you read the same 15 paragraphs of endless rants to give it 7 or 6 anyway.

I like X-play and I believe that they take make some great points in games and videogaming in general that other publications leave out. Though I don't base my purchases on them solely, I do take in their opinion. But nobody HAS to agree with them.

not just too deep, but too complicated. Sure, you could spend days looking through the manual trying to figure out what things are, but then you would be reading, and not playing.

You may have a different opinion, but they make a valid point. Videogaming in this day in age can be deep, but you have to know how to do it.
