See this was just a dream and did not reflect actually reality.

Disregard the shared titles with the PC and it's really not a very impressive 'exclusive' lineup at this point.
But who knows? Maybe MS will announce a few surprises this coming year.

Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry Hryb, known by the pseudonym Major Nelson, has posted his latest podcast in his blog, revealing that at next year's E3, Microsoft will unveil games that are shipping in 2009 and beyond.

"The last two E3s at least, if I use that a proxy for what's coming, we've talked a lot about what its coming in the next five to six months after E3, and we've had some pressure that maybe we want to think a little broader about what we want to say at E3, a little further out in the future," Phil Spencer, General Manager of Microsoft Game Studios, told Hryb in the podcast. "I came out of an E3 planning meeting just about an hour ago and we were looking at some of the plans for the future and things that we might want to tease. It's very exciting, because there's a lot of stuff on the docket and maybe we'll break the bank a little bit and talk about things that are further out, which will hopefully get the community excited."


Sounds like they're gearing up to pull a Sony this coming E3.

I never said exclusive lineup, 360 still gets all those PC/360 titles, and are a huge plus, because you can play them for just 199$, and not on any other console system

So, they count as much as exclusives alright, and are in the 360 lineup for 2009, my list was never about 360 exclusives, more about how 360 can cover both console and PC systems in one of the best value package in the industry, it has both huge WRPG's from PC, and huge JRPG's like SO4, FF13 etc

But they are just that, an opinion, it is not the same for everyone, others like me may find most of those games interesting, who knows

Personally i am buying Alan Wake, KUF2: Dominion and all those WRPG's and JRPG's day one, maybe some other titles too, but i need more info (Dead Island, Splinter Cell etc)

For example i had far more fun playing Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Banjo 3, Viva Pinata 2, Last Remnant, Too Human, Ninja Gaiden 2 etc than i had playing Gears 2, GTA4, LBP, Fallout 3, MGS4 etc

So, those are the AAA games to me in 2008, definatly not the overhyped ones like Gears 2 and MGS4

It is all about preference, scores mean nothing when you actually have a blast playing a game

Same goes for 2009, i would rather have all those RPG's (all are buy day one for me), than any number of overhyped shooters like Halo Recon and KZ2 etc

So in short: 2008 List's Hype > 2009. 2008's potential (during 2007) > 2009.

But in the end it is not hype we play and enjoy, but actual games

And so far none of the most hyped games have been anywhere in my personal best games like, i simply did not care much for Halo 3, Gears 2, MGS4, LBp etc

So, the hype indeed was bigger for 2008 exclusive list, but that means nothing to me, the hype is something only fanboys can use with any meaning, i am a gamer and would never follow hype around, i try to test all games and buy what is best for me and have fun with, than what is hyped

It is not like i am buying all those games day one, that is juts a list of what i find interesting so far, that is why what i consider totally indifferent to me, is not in

Also the games i will buy day one, are all the RPG's, that i know i will have fun with (i will have a blast with actually), and games like Alan Wake, KUF2: Dominion that seem epic

Now that is just me, everyone has his own preferences, and can do his own research to see what to buy or wait for reviews or whatever

This is just a listing of titles, and i will definatly buy some day one myself so i am hugly exited about that lineup, that is all

I never said that this is a exclusives or must buy games for everyone in 2009, after all both those vary for each of us and would be meaningless to post just a hyped games list, each can make his own mind on the titles, i just listed them to let people know they are there and coming to 360

BTW i am never going off hype when i talk about future (or past or current) releases, i go by fun i have playing, and personal experience, devleoper previous titles, videos, interviews, pics, gameplay features etc

By your logic i should have the best gaming with MGS4, Gears 2, when i had it with Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Last Remnant, Banjo 3 etc

I never said exclusive lineup, 360 still gets all those PC/360 titles, and are a huge plus, because you can play them for just 199$, and not on any other console system

So, they count as much as exclusives alright, and are in the 360 lineup for 2009, my list was never about 360 exclusives, more about how 360 can cover both console and PC systems in one of the best value package in the industry, it has both huge WRPG's from PC, and huge JRPG's like SO4, FF13 etc

No if it is on the PC it is not a 360 "exclusive". The fact you could play it cheaper on a 360 has nothing to do with it.

I own a PS3 and a computer that can run any game currently released. Guess I luck out with those "exclusives" eh?

Maybe because KUF2, Alan Wake, Divinity 2, Two World Temptation and Venetica are also on PC, and Mass Effect 2 has a massive chance of going to PC as well. Not to mention the PC versions of those games are going to be superior to their console counterparts. People don't really like the 360 line-up because it's 'exclusives' aren't really exclusive.

A bunch of bad games with a few quality titles. That's all I see. White Gold? Lulz. I guess it's okay to list it since cows listed Haze and Lair in their "ZOMG WE DOMINATE THIS YEAR" lists.

Oh and Mass Effect 2 isn't coming next year, as much as I wish it would. Hate on EA all you guys want, but EA has never been dumb enough to have one developer release two RPGs at the same time. That's too much money spent on development and probably wouldn't even make half that back. It's hard enough getting an RPG to sell as it is, releasing both Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 would be asking for trouble.

If Alan Wake comes out next year, 360 is already in the running for 1st place, forget the other games.

But then again Alan Wake is my most anticipated game so I guess I'm a little biased. :D (getting it on PC though)

Well what can i say, it is just your opinion

I found Two Worlds 1 a far superior RPG experience than the boring repeatitive Oblivion myself, so don't blame me if Two Worlds 2 is my most wanted game in 2009

And apart from the visual upgrade, there is a HUGE physics upgrade, we even get to travel the sea and float in a real time ocean with waves and everything

If you do not find Two Worlds 2 impressive, as i said, is just your opinion but don't expect everyone to agree with it

Looks ok. Does not have anything against PS3 '09 lineup. Lets face it. PS3 won in terms of exclusives in '08 and most likely is going to get both Game of the Year and System of the Year. It also has '09 GOTY in the bag with the ammount a fantastic games comming out.

I will be keeping track starting in '09 and rubbing every game in the lemmings faces all year long. I am going to have fun in '09.

I do not see any huge free roaming world adventures like Alan Wake, or huge epic vast scale startegy/RPG/action titles like KUF2, or huge 100+ hour WRPG"s with 10x more next gen than Oblivion worlds and gameplay like Divinity 2, Mass Effect 2, Two Worlds Temptation, Venetica, or any huge JRPG's like Star Ocean 4, Cry On etc etc in PS3 lineup
