Xbox Series X early launch?

Has anyone ordered an XSX through the Microsoft store, and if so have you received an updated delivery date?Just got an email from Microsoft saying the estimated DELIVERY date for my order has changed to October 29th, was previously November 10th.

Does this mean that an early launch announcement is imminent? Has Microsoft just bitch slapped Sony? If so, will even more cow meltdowns commence?

I'm not sure what to think, surely it's not been sent out in mistake, or at least I'm praying it wasn't. Things just got very interesting. Only one week to go. The hype is real!!!

Well i did hear that m$ was going to sneak release in august before this covjd a while back / im thinking this is an error but i would imaGINE THat M$ is defly switching up some things last minute to build some momentum...keep us posted if you do get it early

@bluudynuckles: Maybe they're ahead of schedule and decided to pull the pin an let em' go? Hopefully not an error, but no tracking info as of yet.

When I saw the email title stating delivery date change, I was expecting it to say my delivery will be coming at a later date, not launch as was supposed to be. Couldn't believe it when it said it's actually coming earlier. Time will tell I suppose, fingers crossed.

It's good that MS is releasing it early, people can enjoy it.

Rang Xbox support to see if it was a mistake or not. Numerous others have reported the same emails but no clarification yet as it is currently being investigated, so sadly I think it may turn out to be a mistake. Either that or MS be trolling us 0_o

That would be interesting to see the system launching 2 weeks ahead of the PS5 which the 29th is. Considering how many units went out to reviewers and youtubers, they probably have been making these for a while now. Only time will tell if this is true or not. I didn’t get an email from them on an updated delivery date so I assume mine still is November 10.

Same here, but I would assume YouTubers already have'em by now. Not getting an XSX mind you, I use Twitter all the damn time.

Looks like a phishing scam, someone knew you ordered one and is hoping to redirect your order or gain access to your account through links provided. I hope you didn't take the bait.

I am sure $ony could release the P$5 early as well to offset this early release. $ony doesn't want to fall behind.

Possibly a mistake. A launch is hard work. Think it's a worldwide launch too. That's got to be like moving mountains.
